クリスマスソング

Thanksgivingの次の日から、毎日クリスマスソングが流れています。
大体は日本と同じ曲。
こちらでも、ワムやマライア・キャリーは定番のようです。
あとは、古典的なクリスマスソング。
教会のESLでも、クリスマスソングを歌ったり、聖書でキリスト誕生のあたりを
勉強したりします。
よく考えれば当たり前なのですが、
古典的なクリスマスソングは、キリストの生誕を讃える歌詞が多い
ことに気付かされます。
『Joy to the world』
なども歌詞を追っていくと、キリストの生誕について歌っています。
